Announcement of a Public Comment Period Extension: Chlorpyrifos

Public Comments on the Child–Specific Reference Dose (chRD) for Chlorpyrifos for Use in Assessing Health Risks at Existing and Proposed School Sites

The Office of Environmental Health Hazard Assessment (OEHHA) of the California Environmental Protection Agency made available the draft report, “Development of Health Criteria for School Site Risk Assessment Pursuant to Health and Safety Code Section 901(g): PROPOSED CHILD–SPECIFIC REFERENCE DOSE (chRD) FOR SCHOOL SITE RISK ASSESSMENT, CHLORPYRIFOS,” for public review and comment on November 30, 2007. The comment period was to end on January 18, 2008, but has now been extended to February 11, 2008.  Comments received by that date will be considered in the revision of the document.  This report is available to the public via the OEHHA Web site at: http://www.oehha.ca.gov/public_info/public/kids/pdf/Chlorpyrifos_d_113007.pdf
